full-time
youth pastor, and a bevy of volunteers. Pictured below, left to right:

Pastor Fred and his
wife of 32 years, Sharla, came to be Senior Pastors of Lifeway
Chapel in July of 2004. The Paces have been in full-time pastoral
ministry since 1983. They have pastored at St. Maries Assembly of
God in St. Maries, Idaho; Suncrest Family Worship Center in Nine
Mile Falls, Washington; and are now enjoying the wonderful family of
Lifeway Chapel and being back in Idaho.
Pastor Fred has served as the Home
Missions and
Light-For-The-Lost representatives for the Spokane Section,
as well as the District Presbyter for the Spokane Section. Sharla served as
Assistant Women’s Ministries Director for the Northwest Ministry Network
for many years.
The Paces have three grown children.
(No grandkids yet! Anybody want to rent some out?). They live in Post
Falls with their two cats, Taz and Tweedy. They love hunting, fishing,
camping, just about anything to do with the great outdoors. Above all,
they love people!
Pastor Fred describes his ministry as
“cross-generational.”
Ministry to the
whole family,
to make the family whole.
He believes in a strong pulpit
ministry in the Word of God, challenging people to live in such a way that
God can use them to change a community, and ultimately the world.

Pastor Cheyenne grew up in St. Ignatius, Montana.
After high school he attended Montana Wilderness School of the Bible
and is currently studying through
Global University (Berean School of the Bible).
He is a Licensed Minister with the Northwest District of the
Assemblies of God and has served at Lifeway
Chapel since January 2003. Pastor
Cheyenne and his wife Kimberly have been married since August 2001,
and have two little girls, Eliona (3yrs old) and Kailey (6 months
old). The four of them live in
Post Falls along with their dog Daisy. Pastor
Cheyenne believes:
“ It is important for our youth today to have a
strong Biblical foundation. My goal is that as the youth move onto
adulthood, they will be solid in their faith and be able to stand
firm in Biblical Truth. “God wants to do an
awesome thing with and for his people. Why not here? Why not now? Since
he has done it before, he will do it again.”
Pastor Cheyenne’s favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6:
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.”
