The following applies to the public areas of this
website.
We do not list home telephone numbers or addresses for
anyone. It is assumed that other members have the church directory or can
call the office for phone numbers if this information is needed.
CHURCH STAFF: For staff, we list names, email
address (if they have one), and office telephone number.
ADULT MEMBERS: For adult members, we often list
names when they are a contact for a church group, activity, or event. We
do not list email addresses unless they have specifically given
permission.
YOUTH/CHILDREN: For youth, we do not list full
names, but only first name and sometimes the initial of the last name. We
also do not list email addresses or telephone numbers.
MISSIONARIES: For missionaries, we are very careful
what, if anything, we publish. Sometimes, missionaries are in countries
where they would be in danger if it were known that they are
"missionaries" or even Christian. In some countries, it is actually
illegal to be there as a Christian missionary and they could be imprisoned
or deported. We don't post info, even names, emails or country, without
the explicit permission of that missionary or from our pastor in charge of
missions. WEBSITE VISITORS: We do not
collect any information from website visitors unless...
- the visitor posts to
a public forum (and then whatever he/she posts becomes public); or
- the visitor sends email to one of our staff or
volunteers (and then his/her email address and message may or may not be
saved by that staff person or volunteer); or
- the visitor completes an online form and voluntarily
provides contact information (and then his/her contact information may
or may not be saved by a staff person or volunteer).
Visitor information is NEVER given or sold to others
outside of Lifeway Chapel.
