Lifeway Chapel started out simply as the "Assembly of God" in
Post Falls, Idaho back in 1956. One of the original pastors was Lyle
Thompson. He and his wife Doreen helped to build the young congregation
into a small but stable church. They served for several years until
becoming full time missionaries.

Through the years the church grew and added a new sanctuary in the
mid-1970s.
Terence Hall and his wife Jill arrived in the mid-1980s and served
until they, too, answered the call to full time missions. They are
currently missionaries in Russia.
Pastor
Rob Wheeler and his wife Lisa began leading the church in 1991 when
the Halls left, and did so for the next 12 years (to the day!), until
Pastor Rob felt the call to move his ministry into a different arena.
Associate/Youth Pastor Cheyenne McElderry
stepped up to the plate during the interim until Senior Pastor Fred Pace
joined the Lifeway Chapel
staff in July 2004.
Although the church is still affiliated with the
Assemblies of God, several years ago the congregation decided to
express itself with a name that would be more community oriented, and
voted to change the church name to Lifeway Chapel.
We have been worshipping, learning, and serving in the same
location for 50 years and invite you to come and
check us out.
