We are pleased to have received the Content Rich Award from the Idiom Sisters. This awards program has achieved a 4.0 rating from Award Sites.

According to the Idiom Sisters, "Content is king, but Site Design and Navigation are vital members of the Royal Family. We appreciate good grammar and style, efficient communication, and regard for site visitors."

Since these three practical attributes were among our goals in creating this web site, we particular appreciate this award.

Awards presented by 42nd Street were intended to recognize and encourage excellence in website design, and to help keep the world-wide-web itself a fun, pleasant, helpful and informative community. This awards program once achieved a 5.0 rating from Award Sites and was listed as one of the world's most prestigious awards by Website Awards.

Awards are not presented simply by applying for one; rather, they must be earned by displaying excellence in design, thoughtfulness and content. Ingenuity is a big plus.

The most important aspects of any site design are clean code, good choice of colors, ease of navigation, correct spelling and/or grammar, and continuity of content. Hard work is displayed on countless websites, but it is only those which display that "something extra" that will earn the highest awards from 42nd Street. Site design is important, but it is no more important than the content of that site or the message the webmaster of that site is attempting to convey.

To this end, only those showing the highest efforts in their category were recognized by 42nd Street with an award.

We are very pleased to have received the Bronze Award from 42nd Street.

The purpose of webthrower.com award program is to recognize the outstanding achievements of individual designers that continue to help mold the Internet experience for others to enjoy.

As a respected professional and the sole recipient of the American Association of Webmasters Graphic Artist of the Year Award, Jeff Thrower knows "how much hard work it is to put up a site." He's been through the "long hours of editing and deleting and a lot of changing" to get a site just right.

The Theology Website is dedicated to providing the internet community with academically rigorous and doctrinally sound theological content in a public forum characterized by open mindedness and genuine engagement toward diverse convictions and beliefs.

The Theology Website Good Use Award is given to those sites recommended to Theology Website visitors as demonstrating meaningful use of the internet. This award program is rated 4.0 by Award Sites.

The evaluator said, "Nice job on your website! Very clean layout and easy to navigate. I like the graphics (e.g., the church photos and the cartoons) which you sprinkle throughout the site."

The American Association of Webmasters is a respected organization providing membership and awards to webmasters all over the world.

Less than half of those applying for an award from the AAWM are so honored, and fewer still qualify for the Gold Award as we have. Applicants are evaluated on navigation, design, content, originality and creativity, and scripting.

Websites awarded by Phoenix Peach must be family-oriented and kid safe. Among other criteria, the evaluator looks for interesting content as well as interesting color and design.

Besides meeting the general criteria, sites receiving the Spreading Cheer Award must have a feeling of warmth and friendship about it; be cultivated with "Tender Loving Care;" promote family and/or values. It's for sites that make the web a better place!

The Church Website Award is given only to churches that have a physical geographic location and have a public advertised worship service at least once every seven days (This means that true cyber-churches and house fellowships are not eligible for this award.)

The Good News website also has strict doctrinal criteria for award recipients, and we received a correspondingly detailed evaluation. Here are a few excerpts:

"I have visited the church website and viewed most of the pages and it is truly a great website in terms of technical expertise and design shown ... and also the content, which whilst offering plenty to surfers living in your neighbourhood to encourage them to come to church, also offered something for those living further afield (e.g. in the U.K.) to hear the Gospel. I am pleased to award you and your website the Church award . The opening page offers a nice friendly welcome and lets us see what the minister looks like! Linked text to activities, staff, Post Falls, and purpose lead the visitor straight into what he might be looking for.... What to Expect makes the visitor feel at home especially with regard to anointing with oil and Baptism in the Holy Spirit and also the definition pop-up on Pentecostal."

The site must: (a) Contain no adult-theme or sexually-explicit text, banners, images, photographs ,.. or anything hateful, racist or bigoted; (b) link only to other safe-viewing sites, and (c) be 100% safe for children (and grandma) to visit. The Faithful Servant Award is given to those who honor the Lord, who follow the Bible as the inspired Word of God, and who glorify His Name.
